Job summary

MADD in Jackson, MS is seeking a program administrator to organize underage drinking and drunk driving prevention initiatives across state and local levels. The role includes program administration, liaison with grantors, and reporting to meet performance objectives.

The position may evolve to include fundraising responsibilities; travel is required and the candidate must reside in the Jackson, MS area. Annual salary is $50,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience implementing community awareness and youth programs.
• Willingness to travel; flexible hours required.
• Non-Profit Fundraising experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; data entry skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop events and outreach to achieve grant objectives and disseminate program directives.
• Lead training programs and coordinate logistics for State and Local level prevention initiatives.
• Organize orientation, evaluation meetings, facilitator trainings, and parent/student workshops.
• Source and recruit volunteers; provide training, guidance and support.
• Track and report program/grant results, and assist with evaluation/improvement.
• Support national program evaluation measures and reporting requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
