Job summary

Mothers Against Drunk Driving is seeking a remote Maryland-based Program Coordinator to organize and implement underage drinking and drunk driving prevention programs. You will administer grants, liaison with stakeholders, and ensure performance objectives are met.

The role requires travel within Maryland, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience with program evaluation and data tracking. Salary is $50,000 annually with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field such as Human Services or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience implementing community awareness, education, partnership and youth programs; grant administration helpful.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
• Strong organization, detail orientation, multitasking in high-volume environments.
• Clear written and verbal communication; good grammar and English language.
• Ability to work independently and with others to resolve issues with composure.
• Computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook; data entry in on-line systems; basic record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design events to achieve objectives and market outreach to communities.
• Ensure grant proposals include program directives.
• Manage implementation and logistics of prevention programs through training facilitation.
• Organize orientation, evaluation meetings, facilitator training, and student presentations.
• Source and recruit volunteers for applicable programs.
• Provide training, guidance, support and motivation to volunteers and staff.
• Maintain tracking and data collection of programs, grant results and financial reports.
• Identify areas not fully utilizing resources and ensure timely assistance.
• Participate in National program evaluation measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
