Job summary

Summit Utilities is seeking a Commercial Operations Associate I (SGL17) for a hybrid role, potentially based in Maine or Arkansas, with a remote option for Texas. The Associate will lead buildout of commercial operations infrastructure, develop KPI dashboards, and support FP&A, M&A, and cross-functional initiatives in RNG projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field and at least four years of experience in finance or energy markets, with

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• At least four (4) years’ experience in management consulting, investment banking, commercial operations, energy marketing or trading, corporate or project finance, infrastructure, or private equity investing.
• Experience in RNG, renewable fuels, environmental commodities, natural gas, or power markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial and operating models for portfolio projects and KPI dashboards.
• Run the monthly operating and financial review cadence with project teams.
• Oversee analysts managing environmental credit monetization and revenue compliance.
• Support strategy development for market analyses and business cases.
• Assist bolt-on projects including CO2 and other co-products.
