Job summary

Summit Utilities, through Peaks Renewables, seeks a Commercial Operations Associate I to manage financial models, dashboards, and growth initiatives. The role supports FP&A, M&A, and commercial teams, connecting operations with finance to scale a growing RNG platform.

You will develop and maintain KPI dashboards, build financial/operating models, and lead monthly reviews while coordinating with data engineers and analysts for repeatable workflows.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field.
• At least four years' experience in management consulting, investment banking, or commercial finance.
• RNG, renewable fuels, environmental commodities, or power markets experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial and operating models for portfolio projects.
• Run the monthly operating and financial review cadence and present to leadership.
• Oversee environmental credit monetization and revenue compliance for state and federal programs.
• Support strategy development through market and competitive analyses.
• Support bolt-on project development including CO2 liquefaction facilities and fertilizer production.
• Develop and institutionalize peaks commercial function and offtake strategy.
• Assist the M&A team with commercial due diligence and integration of acquired assets.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives like ERP implementation and KPI dashboard automation.
