Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Operations Associate I (SGL17) for Peaks Renewables in the Denver area.

This dynamic, multidisciplinary role covers financial modeling, KPI dashboards, and coordination of monthly reviews, linking operations, FP&A, M&A, and commercial functions to scale the RNG platform. You will work with data engineers to automate processes, support strategy in new markets, and help implement ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in finance, operations, or related fields in energy/consulting.
• Experience in RNG, renewable fuels, environmental commodities, natural gas, or power markets preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build and own financial models and deliverables and present to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial and operating models and KPI dashboards.
• Run monthly operating/financial reviews and present findings to leadership.
• Oversee environmental credit monetization, including credit generation and revenue compliance.
• Support strategy for new markets and bolt-on opportunities (e.g., CO2 and co-products).
• Support M&A due diligence and commercial integration of acquisitions.
