Qualifications

• High school Diploma required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire.
• Prior claim handling, or business experience in the insurance industry and/or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an inventory of low-to-moderate complexity commercial claims following company protocols.
• Verify policy coverage, gather information, document files, and authorize disbursements within authority.
• Communicate with insureds, claimants, and partners to provide timely updates and ensure quality service.
• Investigate to determine liability and compensability, taking statements and coordinating with experts as needed.
• Identify subrogation/salvage opportunities and refer to appropriate resources.
