Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a dynamic Collections Manager to lead a team handling defaulted contracts across delinquency stages and diverse portfolios.

The role supports hybrid and remote work with on-site days as required, ensuring timely review and recovery of past-due accounts while managing risk and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include coaching, process improvement, and strong team leadership to meet delinquency targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of loan collection policies, procedures and credit lending principles.
• Familiarity with collection laws and regulations.
• Understanding of consumer, residential, commercial and/or dealer-originated installment lending.
• Experience with online collection systems and portals.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Good managerial and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to resolve moderate problems with minimal guidance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of EF Servicing Team members.
• Coordinate training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Provide high-quality customer service handling inquiries and problems.
• Analyze and research solutions to meet customer needs.
• Participate in testing in UAT environment with EF applications and customer portal.
• Drive process improvements and transformation.
• Engage with team members and manage escalations.
• Collaborate with other areas of the organization.
