Job summary

Happen Bank is seeking an experienced leader to oversee collections strategy and performance. You will manage a team of managers and front-line associates, driving adherence to regulatory requirements while delivering strong business outcomes.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, cross-functional partnership with Legal, Compliance, Audit, and other stakeholders, and an expanding scope across multiple business units. Hybrid Lehi work arrangements apply.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of leadership experience with progressive responsibility.
• Deep experience in collections at strategic and operational levels; staff management preferred.
• Experience in a highly regulated line of business with TCPA, FDCPA, and UDAAP governance.
• Experience defining and adjusting metrics based on business needs.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
• Ability to work across multiple organizational levels and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance of Member Recovery staff across phones, chat, and text.
• Collaborate with internal partners to implement new collections strategies to drive efficiency.
• Inspire teams and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements for collections.
• Lead initiatives with Legal, Compliance, Audit and other partners in response to regulatory changes.
• Consult on strategic initiatives as required by the business.
• Over time expand role to support multiple business units and product lines.
