Job summary

Flexential is seeking an Account Executive in the Tampa area to drive revenue by acquiring new customers and strategic prospects. You will manage the full sales cycle for data center services, including colocation, cloud, and managed services, in a consultative sales process.

Ideal candidates have a track record of new business sales and can navigate complex opportunities with executives and technical staff. Travel up to 50% of the time and a base plus commission structure are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience selling to prospects in a competitive IT market.
• Proven success selling managed services, IT infrastructure or cloud solutions.
• Strong ability to engage business decision makers and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Meet and/or exceed all quota requirements.
• Develop and execute sales territory plans.
• Sell into an assigned set of prospects not currently doing business with Flexential.
• Determine and set the sales strategy to close complex opportunities in colocation, cloud and managed services.
• Develop relationships with prospective customer executives, technical staff and partners.
• Develop technical responses for RFPs as part of the account team.
• Manage multiple priorities and multi-task effectively.
• Track prospect and sales activities in Salesforce.com.
