Job summary

Flexential is seeking an Account Executive in Nashville to drive new business and revenue within an assigned sales territory. You will acquire new customers and strategic prospects while managing the full sales cycle and selling our data center services, including colocation, cloud and managed services, to organizations not yet engaged with our solutions.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in technology sales, strong consultative skills, negotiation, and time-management abilities,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technology sales.
• Proven track record selling to IT decision makers in a competitive market.
• Experience selling managed services, IT infrastructure, or cloud solutions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed quota requirements.
• Develop and execute sales territory plans.
• Sell into an assigned set of prospects not currently doing business with Flexential.
• Close complex opportunities in colocation, cloud and managed services.
• Build relationships with executives and technical staff.
• Develop responses for RFPs with the account team.
• Manage multiple priorities and multi-task effectively.
• Track prospect and sales activities in Salesforce.com.
• Perform other duties as required.
