Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to support mission critical DoD programs from Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. The role requires architecting, engineering, implementing, and sustaining secure hybrid cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and AWS with experience in endpoint management and security within secure enterprise environments.

Responsibilities include IaC design/deployment, RMF compliance, Zero Trust, and collaboration with cybersecurity and systems engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years in relevant field; advanced experience may substitute.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance at time of hire.
• Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• 5+ years of enterprise cloud experience.
• Extensive Azure infrastructure and platform service design/deployment experience.
• Hybrid cloud environments integrating on-prem with Azure/AWS.
• Hands-on admin for: Microsoft Intune, Defender, Purview, AVD; DLP and data governance.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation).
• Automation via PowerShell and Python; CLI tools for Azure/AWS.
• Strong cloud networking, security, RMF/NIST alignment, Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure hybrid cloud solutions on Azure and AWS.
• Deploy greenfield cloud environments for DoD missions.
• Develop secure, scalable cloud architectures per DoD guidance.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation.
• Manage endpoint security and governance with Intune, Defender, Purview, AVD.
• Integrate on-prem with cloud networks and ensure RMF compliance.
• Automate deployments with PowerShell, Python, Azure/AWS CLI.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and development teams.
• Provide mentorship to junior cloud engineers and support leadership duties.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies to support mission objectives.
