Job summary

Leidos seeks a Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to design, implement, and sustain secure Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for DoD missions in Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. You will lead architecture, identity governance, and security controls across legacy and cloud environments.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, DoD RMF/STIG compliance, and deep Azure expertise with Entra ID, IAM, and Hybrid identity integration. Expect hands-on engineering across the solution lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline plus 12–15 years of experience (or a Master’s with 10–13 years)
• Active TS/SCI clearance at time of hire
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Minimum five years of experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure enterprise cloud solutions
• Experience architecting hybrid Azure environments integrating on‑prem with Azure
• Advanced experience with Entra ID, Entra Connect, AD, AWS IAM, hybrid identity synch/federation, E‑ICAM

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, engineer, and implement secure Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for DoD mission requirements
• Design and deploy green-field Azure environments and hybrid cloud architectures
• Implement enterprise hybrid identity solutions using Entra ID/Entra Connect, AD, and related technologies
• Engineer PAM, IAM, and Zero Trust controls including JIT access
• Design Azure Landing Zones, governance frameworks, and CAF/Well-Architected guidance
• Implement IaC using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates
• Configure secure Azure networking and monitoring, backup, DR, and governance
• Support ATO activities and RMF/STIG compliance
• Produce architecture documentation and technical runbooks
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, networking, and development teams
