Job summary

Leidos seeks a Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to support DoD cloud modernization in Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. You will architect, engineer, and deploy secure hybrid cloud solutions across Azure and AWS, leading green-field initiatives and enforcing DoD Zero Trust standards.

The role requires hands-on cloud engineering, IaC, and collaboration with cybersecurity and engineering teams to meet accreditation and mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering with 12+ years' relevant experience.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• 5+ years of experience architecting and implementing Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
• Experience designing hybrid cloud environments with on-premises integration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure compute, networking, storage, security, identity, and management services.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, engineer, and deploy secure hybrid cloud solutions in Azure and AWS.
• Design enterprise cloud architectures for mission-critical DoD systems.
• Lead technical implementation from concept to production deployment.
• Develop green-field cloud environments with security, scalability, resilience, and automation.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation.
• Engineer cloud networking integrating on-prem with Azure and AWS.
• Deploy cloud-native security, monitoring, backup, and DR solutions.
• Automate using PowerShell, Azure CLI, AWS CLI, Python.
