Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to design, engineer, implement, and sustain secure Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for DoD missions in Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering across the solution lifecycle with a focus on Zero Trust and RMF compliance.

The candidate must hold active TS/SCI clearance, DoD IAM/Entra ID governance experience, and Azure certification, with 5+ years delivering enterprise cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering and 12–15 years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of hire.
• Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT II certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Minimum five years of experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure enterprise cloud solutions.
• Experience architecting hybrid Azure environments with on-prem infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, engineer, and implement secure Microsoft Azure cloud solutions supporting DoD mission requirements.
• Design and deploy green-field Azure environments and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise hybrid identity solutions (Entra ID, Entra Connect, AD).
• Engineer PAM, IAM, and Zero Trust controls for secure access.
• Create Azure Landing Zones and governance models per CAF and Well-Architected framework.
• Develop IaC using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates; automate with scripting.
• Configure Azure networking, DNS, ExpressRoute, VPN, Firewall, and Private connectivity.
• Implement monitoring, backup, DR, governance, and security capabilities.
• Support ATO activities; ensure RMF and STIG compliance.
• Produce architecture diagrams and implementation guides.
