Job summary

Leidos seeks a Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to support DoD programs in Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. You will architect, engineer, implement, and sustain secure hybrid cloud solutions across Azure and AWS, with hands‑on work in modern cloud infrastructure and endpoint security.

The role requires active DoD TS/SCI clearance, IAT II, and experience with IaC, Intune/ Defender/ Purview, and RMF guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Minimum of five years architecting enterprise cloud solutions.
• Extensive experience deploying Azure infrastructure and platform services.
• Hands-on IaC using Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation.
• Experience with Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Purview, and AVD.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, engineer, and implement secure hybrid cloud solutions on Azure and AWS.
• Design and deploy greenfield cloud environments for DoD mission requirements.
• Develop secure, scalable cloud architectures aligned with DoD guidance and RMF.
• Design IaC solutions using Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation.
• Administer Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Purview, and AVD environments.
• Engineer secure networking linking on-premise infrastructure with cloud.
• Automate deployments with PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, AWS CLI.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and app teams.
• Support system accreditation and DoD RMF compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
