SarelaTech is seeking a highly qualified Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to support DoD programs in Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. The role spans architecting, engineering, and sustaining secure hybrid cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and AWS, with emphasis on greenfield deployments and RMF alignment.

The ideal candidate will hold a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance, IaC expertise with Terraform/Azure Bicep/ARM Templates/CloudFormation, and hands-on experience with Intune, Defender,

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• 5+ years experience architecting and implementing enterprise cloud solutions.
• Experience designing Azure infrastructure & hybrid cloud with AWS.
• Hands-on with Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Purview, and AVD.
• IaC experience: Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation.
• Automation with PowerShell, Python, Bash, Azure CLI, or AWS CLI.
• Strong cloud networking, security, RMF, NIST guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in dynamic mission-focused teams.
• Familiarity with cloud-connected endpoints and non-persistent devices.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, engineer, and implement secure hybrid cloud solutions using Azure and AWS.
• Design greenfield cloud environments for DoD mission requirements.
• Develop secure, scalable cloud architectures aligned with DoD guidance and Zero Trust.
• Design and implement IaC using Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation.
• Administer Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Purview, and AVD environments.
• Engineer secure networking integrating on-prem with cloud environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and security services.
• Automate deployments with PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, AWS CLI.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, networking, and app teams.
• Support accreditation activities and RMF compliance.
