Job summary

SarelaTech seeks a highly skilled Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to support DoD cloud modernization at Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. You will design, engineer, and sustain secure Azure cloud solutions within classified environments.

Deep expertise in Azure architecture, hybrid identity, and enterprise IAM is required. You will translate mission needs into secure cloud solutions while hands-on engineering across the lifecycle, with DoD RMF/ STIG compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field with 12–15 years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 10–13 years.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Minimum five years designing and implementing Azure enterprise cloud solutions.
• Experience architecting hybrid Azure environments with on-premises integration.
• Advanced experience with Entra ID, Entra Connect, AD, AWS IAM and EICAM suites.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, engineer, and implement secure Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for DoD missions.
• Deploy green-field Azure environments and hybrid architectures.
• Manage enterprise hybrid identity with Entra ID, Entra Connect, AD, and PAM.
• Implement Zero Trust, ABAC/RBAC, and secure access controls.
• Create Azure Landing Zones, governance, and CAF/Well-Architected alignment.
• Develop IaC with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
• Design secure networking with VNETs, ExpressRoute, VPN, and Azure Firewall.
• Set up monitoring, backup, DR, governance, and security tooling.
• Admin Entra ID Governance features like Access Reviews, Entitlement, Lifecycle Workflows, CA, PIM.
• Collaborate with cyber, systems, networking, and Dev teams for integrated cloud solutions.
• Support ATO activities and RMF/ STIG compliance.
• Produce architecture docs and runbooks; troubleshoot complex issues.
• Evaluate new Microsoft cloud tech and map to customer missions.
