Job summary

CapTech is seeking a Cloud Architect to lead architectural strategy and delivery for client projects across multiple industries. You will work with CapTech teams and client staff to design cloud solutions, set standards, and ensure successful outcomes.

You will guide developers, collaborate with PMs and analysts, and apply modern cloud concepts including IaaS, PaaS, serverless, containers, and CI/CD in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Cloud architecture experience with Azure or AWX.
• 7+ years of software development across a broad toolset.
• Experience designing/Developing with .NET: ASP.NET MVC, C#, EF.
• RESTful API design with Web API/Swagger.
• SQL Server, Cosmos DB, or MongoDB.
• Front-end tech with JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React/Vue).
• Ability to align architectural decisions with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to CapTech clients and stakeholders.
• Define technical direction and enforce architectural standards.
• Lead internal teams and coordinate with PMs, analysts, and designers.
• Design, implement, and support cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to establish scope, priorities, and delivery.
• Define architecture for phased software development.
• Provide hands-on technical direction to developers.
