Job summary

University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA is seeking a Clinical Research Operations Analyst to manage CTMS operations and revenue recovery activities supporting clinical research programs.

You will analyze budgets, contracts, and billing, generate sponsor invoices, ensure compliance, and provide reporting to management. This is a hybrid role requiring 1–3 years of clinical research experience and knowledge of CTMS/EPIC preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a clinical research environment within healthcare or an academic setting.
• Working knowledge of federal and state regulations related to clinical research, including clinical research billing requirements.

Responsibilities

• CTMS Operations: analyzes, evaluates and maintains protocols, budgets and contracts within CTMS.
• Defines CTMS payments configuration and processes to support study workflows.
• Ensures operational compliance and consistency across protocols.
• Analyzes study calendar revisions impacting invoicing and revenue recovery.
• Generates invoices to external sponsors and resolves questions with study teams.
