Job summary

The University of Massachusetts Medical School is seeking a Clinical Research Operations Analyst to oversee CTMS operations and revenue recovery within a hybrid work environment. You will analyze budgets, generate sponsor invoices, and ensure compliant billing across clinical research projects, while developing training materials and SOPs for the team.

Collaborate with the Office of Clinical Research coverage analysts to maintain accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in billing and reporting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of clinical research experience in healthcare or academia.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations for clinical research billing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze CTMS protocols, budgets, and amendments.
• Define CTMS payments configurations supporting study workflows.
• Provide CTMS data reviews to ensure complete, accurate records.
• Generate invoices to external sponsors and resolve questions.
• Reconcile accounts receivable across UMMS finance divisions.
• Develop training materials, SOPs, and policies for the division.
• Deliver training to clinical research staff and faculty.
