Providence seeks a Clinical Informatics Lab Specialist to support laboratory components of the EHR and related information systems, partnering with informatics teammates to design workflows and drive efficiency.

The role involves data-driven decision support, collaboration with leadership and vendors, and ensuring alignment with patient safety and regulatory goals, with travel across facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline, IT/informatics, business, education, management, communications, or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• 2 years in a position that has the same or similar primary duties working with a clinical information system within a healthcare setting.
• Experience with EHR systems.
• Experience with benefits and challenges of adult learning.

• Provide technical and application expertise to enhance laboratory information systems.
• Respond to improvement needs in the functional operation of laboratory computer systems.
• Collaborate to document system design and workflow processes for clinical and laboratory management.
