The role emphasizes guidance, training, and delivering high-quality resolutions across auto and liability exposures. The position supports hybrid work from Wisconsin locations (West Bend, Madison, Appleton) and involves team development, performance reviews, and strategic projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in claims management, with a focus on casualty claims.
• 10+ years of claims handling experience
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop personnel
• Interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of claims representatives responsible for managing moderate to complex casualty claims for our personal and commercial accounts.
• Duties include triaging, assigning, and supervising the investigation and resolution of all claims within the team’s identified territory.
• Assist with overflow volume as needed. Provide guidance, authority, and support to ensure high-quality claim resolutions.
• In charge of recruiting, training, developing, and evaluating personnel, including conducting performance reviews, salary adjustments, and promoting team members.
• Additionally, manage special projects as assigned.
