Zusammenfassung

West Bend Insurance Company seeks an experienced claims professional to independently handle moderate to complex casualty claims, including construction defect and auto bodily injury. The role supports hybrid/remote work within the Wisconsin region, with in-person engagements as needed.

You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve diverse claims, maintain reserves, and collaborate with attorneys and vendors to ensure compliant, timely outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience handling casualty claims, including complex bodily injury exposures
• Prior commercial trucking and transportation claims experience preferred
• Experience managing litigated files and working directly with attorneys
• Strong coverage analysis, liability evaluation, and investigative skills
• Advanced knowledge of policy interpretation, contracts, risk transfer, and indemnification agreements

Aufgaben

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve moderate to highly complex casualty claims from initial loss through final disposition.
• Evaluate policy coverage, liability, damages, and risk exposure.
• Establish and maintaining appropriate claim reserves.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve complex claims efficiently and effectively.
• Manage litigated files and partner with defense counsel on claim strategy.
• Review contracts and indemnification agreements for risk transfer provisions.
• Collaborate with insureds, claimants, attorneys, expert vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze incident data, accident reports, and supporting documentation.
• Provide guidance and training as a technical resource to team members.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
