Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus claims experience.
• 2-4 years of casualty claims handling; preferred exposure areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of environmental, products liability, life sciences, and general liability claims.
• Conduct timely claim investigations using contracts, medical records, and pleadings.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and reserves within authority.
• Select and monitor defense counsel and experts.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and prepare recommendations.
• Communicate with insureds, brokers, counsel, and claimants.
