Markel is seeking an experienced claims professional to handle environmental, products liability, and general liability claims of moderate complexity. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims within your authority while coordinating with defense counsel and experts as needed.

In this role, you will analyze policy language, assess liability and damages, maintain reserves, and prepare management updates.

Formación

• 2-4 years of casualty claims handling experience with environmental or liability claims preferred.
• Ability to interpret commercial policies and identify issues needing escalation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present claim issues clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle assigned claims within authority.
• Manage caseload of moderate to complex environmental, products, and general liability claims.
• Coordinate with defense counsel, experts, and vendors per guidelines.
• Communicate status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
