Job summary

AZAD Technology Partners seeks a Civil Engineering Technician to support the Structural and Civil Engineering Group on substation and transmission line projects. You will coordinate drawings, documents, and project data with vendors and internal teams in a hybrid role based in Vancouver, WA.

The position is a 2+ year consultant with potential for long-term employment, 3 days on site weekly. Strong Excel, CAD, and VBA skills are valued for project tasks and data management.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year engineering technician experience with related tasks.
• Experience converting legacy records to electronic databases.
• MS Excel with macros (VBA) proficiency required.
• Knowledge of 2D CAD platforms including MicroStation.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project information, design information, drawings and docs among group and external vendors.
• Support design of substations, transmission line structures, foundations and site work.
• Assist in maintaining project records and documentation
• Collaborate within an engineering project team environment
