Job summary

AZAD Technology Partners seeks an Electrical Engineering Technician to support the Engineering Support organization within the Substation Engineering department. You will help produce indoor and outdoor substation drawings, manage material requests, and prepare project documents for assigned work.

The position is a 2+ year consultant with hybrid work in Vancouver, WA, requiring 3 days on-site. The role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits focused on health and welfare fringe benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• 6 months of electrical engineering work experience required.
• Understanding of electrical power substation including protection schemes and control systems.
• 6 months of directly related experience as an electrical technician or CAD support.
• Experience with CAD and drawing management software.
• Experience with data storage, database management, and records maintenance.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID required.

Responsibilities

• Produce indoor and outdoor electrical power substation and facility design drawings.
• Prepare material requests and other project documents.
• Collaborate with internal and external Transmission Engineering departments as assigned.
