Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Systems or Product Engineer to serve as Functional Chief for Electromechanical Dynamics and Control. You will drive technical excellence, overseeing state-of-the-art development methods and training, with collaboration across Honeywell Aero SBUs. Reporting to the Sr.

Director of Engineering, Assure, the role is based in Tempe, AZ with a hybrid schedule. The incumbent will chair design reviews, develop design guidelines, support program execution, and mentor the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s or PhD preferred).
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in a technical engineering or related role.
• US PERSON REQUIREMENT for export control compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, Own and Maintain product and process design guidelines for electromechanical systems within the motion controls portfolio.
• Develop and maintain analytical methods, modeling process and architecture for dynamics and control.
• Chair dynamic performance and control portions of product design reviews with chief engineers from the Product Integrity Organization.
• Support program execution within area of technical responsibility, including RCA investigations.
• Mentor workforce and drive process improvement initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

Master’s degree or PhD preferred
