Zurich North America is seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to handle Commercial General Liability (CGL) files for a major customer. The role supports a hybrid work model across multiple U.S. locations, including Schaumburg, IL, with occasional in-office attendance.

The position requires 2+ years in claims or insurance, or Zurich-specific training, and a valid adjuster license. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential to deliver efficient claims resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years in Claims or Insurance
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with 2+ years in Claims or Insurance
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program with 1+ year in Claims
• High School Diploma with 4+ years in Claims or Insurance
• Must obtain and maintain adjuster licenses
• Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products
• Microsoft Office experience

Responsibilities

• Handle multi-party CGL claims with low to moderate exposure and complexity.
• Follow established protocols to ensure efficient, customer-centric service.
• Collaborate with team and adjusters to manage reserving and settlements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and document claim files.
