Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to handle Commercial General Liability (CGL) files for a major client. The role supports a hybrid work model across multiple locations in the US, with in-office attendance when necessary.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or Zurich training plus 2+ years in claims, solid analytical abilities, and strong communication skills. A valid adjuster license is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with associate degree and 2+ years in Claims/Insurance
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program with 1+ year in Claims/Insurance
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 4+ years in Claims/Insurance and required adjuster licenses

Responsibilities

• Handle multi-party CGL claims of low to moderate exposure and complexity
• Follow established protocols to ensure efficient, customer-centric claims service
• Collaborate in a hybrid model with in-person and remote work as needed
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills in investigation and resolution
