Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City seeks a Data Management Manager to lead the S&R CDP data management implementation, including data catalog, access management, and records handling. You will coordinate with Board and System data teams and guide a matrixed staff across districts.

You will mentor a team of data management and project professionals, drive governance, and shape strategies for data management across the CDP program, reporting to the CDP S&R Business Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of experience with banking and regulatory activities and demonstrated leadership.
• Experience leading data management initiatives and programs.
• Knowledge of ABAC/RBAC access controls and data governance concepts.
• Familiarity with S&R data policies and data governance environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CDP data management, cataloging, access and records management; communicate with Board and System data stakeholders.
• Lead scalable data management solutions to improve efficiency and reduce risk, incl. metadata/cataloging, data access enablement.
• Partner with S&R stakeholders to drive adoption of data management practices and expand capabilities through use cases.
• Mentor and develop a high-caliber data management and project management team.
• Attract, motivate, and coach staff; deliver performance feedback and resources.
• Develop and measure data management strategies; drive action plans from assessments; coordinate with S&R leaders.
