Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking a Data Management Manager to oversee the S&R CDP data management implementation, including data cataloging, access management, and records management. You will lead a matrixed team and collaborate with Board and System data governance partners.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and policy expertise, with a focus on data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in data science, information management, or related field.
Typically requires 6+ years of experience with banking and regulatory activities.
Experience leading data management initiatives.
Familiarity with S&R data policies.
Knowledge of ABAC and RBAC access controls.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee the CDP data management implementation, including data catalog, access management, and records management.
Lead scalable data management solutions and support models to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
Partner with S&R stakeholders to facilitate adoption of data management practices and define future state access controls.
Interact with senior management to resolve escalated issues and provide continuous improvement recommendations.
Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate data management strategies supporting CDP initiatives.
Mentor and develop a strong team of data management and project professionals.
Attract, motivate, and lead high-caliber staff and provide coaching and feedback.
Measure success of data management efforts and drive ongoing improvements in CDP data governance.
