Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City seeks a Data Management Manager to lead the S&R CDP data management implementation, including cataloging, access control, and records management. You will partner with data sponsors and stewards across the Board and System IT to drive data-enabled decision making.

You will mentor staff, shape data governance policies, and deliver scalable data management solutions in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in data science, information management, or related field; Master’s preferred.
Typically 6+ years in banking/regulatory data management or equivalent.
Experience leading data management initiatives within a regulatory environment.
Knowledge of data governance, access management, and data catalogs.
Strong communication and leadership across matrixed teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee CDP data management implementation including data catalog, access management, and records management.
Lead scalable data management solutions and establish data quality frameworks.
Engage with data sponsors and stewards to align data priorities across S&R and the Federal Reserve System.
Mentor and develop a high-caliber data management team and drive performance.
Communicate strategy and progress to executive leadership and program sponsors.
