Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking a Data Management Manager to lead the CDP data management implementation, including data cataloging, access and records management, and engagement with data sponsors and stewards across the supervision technology portfolio.

You will mentor a matrixed team, coordinate with Reserve Bank data management functions, and partners in System IT while reporting to the CDP S&R Business Director. A hybrid work model is offered with onsite responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, information management, or related field; master's preferred.
• Typically 6+ years of experience with banking/regulatory activities including leadership experience.
• Experience leading system data management initiatives and data governance.
• Knowledge of ABAC and RBAC access models; familiarity with data management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CDP data management, cataloging, access management, and records management.
• Lead scalable data management solutions and reduce risk through metadata/cataloging and data quality frameworks.
• Collaborate with S&R stakeholders to drive adoption of data management practices and define future access controls.
• Mentor data management and project management professionals across the team.
• Develop and evaluate organizational data management strategies supporting CDP and S&R initiatives.
