Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking a Data Management Manager to oversee the S&R CDP data management implementation, including cataloging, access management, and records management, engaging with data sponsors and stewards. You will lead a matrixed team and collaborate with Board and System data governance partners.

The role emphasizes mentoring, strategic data planning, and delivering data management solutions while aligning with home district policies and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, information management, or related field; master's preferred.
• 6+ years in banking/regulatory activities with leadership experience.
• Experience leading data management initiatives and system migrations.
• Familiar with data governance frameworks and policy compliance.
• Strong change management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and operate in a matrixed environment.
• Knowledge of ABAC/RBAC access concepts and data security principles.
• Understanding of cloud services and agile practices is a plus.
• Certification in data management frameworks preferred (DCAM/DMBOK).

Responsibilities

• Oversee CDP data management including cataloging, access management, and records management.
• Lead scalable data management solutions and support models to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Partner with S&R stakeholders to adopt data management practices and expand capabilities.
• Represent S&R in discussions with CDP and System stakeholders to define future access solutions.
• Interact with senior management and regulators to resolve issues and drive improvements.
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate organizational data management strategies.
