Job summary

Applegreen, a leading roadside retailer, is seeking a Category Manager in Glen Rock, NJ to develop and execute category strategies across the retail portfolio. You will manage assortment, pricing, promotions, and vendor partnerships to drive sales growth and margins.

Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to optimize offerings, forecast performance, and deliver actionable plans in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of retail buying, category management, merchandising, or procurement experience.
• Strong experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing vendor relationships.
• Analytical, financially minded, with excellent communication and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies that drive sales growth and margin.
• Manage assortment, pricing, promotions, and merchandising plans for assigned categories.
• Analyze sales, data, and market trends to identify opportunities and improvements.
• Lead vendor negotiations and manage supplier relationships and rebates.
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance on category plans.
