Applegreen is seeking a Category Manager in a hybrid role based in Glen Rock, NJ. You will manage shopping categories across the retail mix, optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions, and partner with Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain to deliver strong customer experiences.

Requirements include 5+ years in retail buying or category management, plus strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and vendor negotiation experience. Hybrid work arrangement with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing vendor relationships.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
• Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and merchandising plans.
• Lead vendor negotiations and develop joint business plans with suppliers.
• Deliver category forecasts, budgets, and performance reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
