Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Glen Rock, NJ seeks a Category Manager to drive strategy across retail categories, manage assortment, pricing, promotions, and vendor partnerships to deliver growth for our high-traffic travel plazas.

You will collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance, lead category reviews, and mentor junior team members in a fast-paced environment; travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in retail buying, category management, merchandising, or procurement.
• Experience negotiating supplier agreements.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent planning and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies to drive sales and profitability.
• Manage assortment, pricing, promotions, and merchandising plans.
• Analyze sales and margin data to identify trends and improvements.
• Lead vendor negotiations and develop joint business plans.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure contractual compliance.
