Job summary

Delta Dental of Minnesota is seeking a Billing & Accounts Receivable professional to process lockbox and automated payments, verify banking totals, and resolve customer inquiries. This role supports the Billing Specialist and ensures accurate financial data for clients and management.

The position requires an Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 1–2 years of related experience, and familiarity with PeopleSoft. It is a hybrid, full-time role based in Bemidji, MN with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent training.
• 1-2 years of accounting/cash processing experience preferred.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or automated billing systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process lockbox and other deposit transactions using PeopleSoft and other software.
• Verify ACH/Direct Debit totals with banking institutions.
• Process overpayments and returned checks from providers or customers.
• Reconcile general ledger, bank statements and customer accounts.
• Provide customer support via phone, email, or mail; assist Billing Specialist as needed.
