This role requires collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other departments to ensure accurate, timely referrals and patient satisfaction.

Hybrid role with on-site requirement one day per week in Norwood, MA. Requires strong scheduling, billing communication, and familiarity with payer processes to support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years scheduling experience in a medical office setting.
• 1+ years experience with complex surgical scheduling and working with clinical providers.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review referral information from clinicians for tests, consultations and procedures.
• Explain insurance benefits and options to patients; inform patients of appointment details.
• Schedule tests, consultations, services and procedures with various providers.
• Assist with billing questions related to referrals and insurance coverage.
