Job summary

UNITE HERE HEALTH in Oak Brook, IL, seeks a Business Analyst to analyze and document business processes, and translate requirements into technical specifications. You will support contract intake, develop dashboards, and explore automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in business analysis, strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and experience with low-code platforms and ITSM tools. This is a regular full-time hybrid role.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of direct experience in a business analyst role.
• Experience with facilitation, interviewing, negotiation, written communication, presentation, and technology management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with business and IT users at all levels.
• Knowledge of technology and business operations across multiple sectors, preferably healthcare.
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (MS Power Platform or similar).
• Experience with IT service management tools (ServiceNow or similar).
• Experience developing and reporting on performance metrics.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks with high quality.
• Experience with multiple project methodologies (waterfall and agile) and tools (JIRA, MS Project, Kanban).
• Self-starter with strong relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and workgroup discussions to understand and analyze business issues and challenges.
• Analyze and document business processes, implementing low-code automation solutions where appropriate.
• Document functional specifications, conversions, upgrades, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflow.
• Translate business requirements into appropriate technical specifications (using both traditional business requirements documentation and Agile user stories).
• Balance technology and business considerations and communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to support the implementation of technology solutions, particularly as it pertains to the contract intake process.
• Administer contract setup, maintenance, and QA to ensure accurate eligibility system processing.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support operational decision-making.
• Support the evaluation, recommendation, and adoption of automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve business processes and operational effectiveness.
