Job summary

Consumers Credit Union’s Mount Morris branch seeks a Branch Specialist to blend concierge, teller, and personal banking duties in a hybrid, full-time role. You will greet members, handle transactions, open accounts, and educate clients on CCU products and services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of similar work experience (retail, customer service, guest relations, sales, and cash handling). Financial institution, Teller, Personal Banker experience is preferred!
• Comfortable promoting products and services and engaging in consultative, sales-oriented conversations
• Strong comfort level with technology, including data systems, Microsoft Office, and web-based tools
• Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships
• Availability to work 40 hours per week within the following schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:30AM - 6PM

Responsibilities

• Welcome members in the branch creating a positive first impression
• Assist and educate members on self-service options, including Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs)
• Process transactions accurately and resolve account and service needs
• Open new consumer accounts efficiently and with attention to detail
• Identify opportunities to connect members with loans, mortgages, and wealth management services
• Recommend improvements that enhance the member experience and branch operations
• Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, audits, and balancing standards
