Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Branch Operations Manager - Commercial Lines in California. This hybrid role requires one day in the office at select IOA locations and leadership of branch operations, P&L, budgets, HR, and client management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the industry, 2+ years of management, and an active P&C license, with strong account management and communication skills to drive growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience with deep, wide-ranging industry knowledge.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Active property & casualty licensing.
• Exceptional account management skills, spending 50% of time on a book of business.
• Outstanding communication, people management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily branch operations and team performance.
• Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans.
• Manage branch P&L, budgeting, and cost control.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and HR policy compliance.
• Maintain relationships with IOA leadership and clients; spend up to 50% on account management.
• Ensure policy enforcement, process improvements, and data-driven performance monitoring.
