Job summary

Golden Gate Regional Center seeks a Bilingual Social Worker for Early Start in San Francisco. The role combines in-office collaboration with field visits to support families of children aged 0-3, developing and coordinating Family Service Plans while advocating for entitlements and community resources.

The position requires fluency in Spanish and English, strong case management, and the ability to travel within SF and surrounding areas. Hybrid schedule offers office and remote work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social welfare or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with infants or children under 4 strongly preferred.
• Ability to speak clearly and be understood by native Spanish speakers and understand dialects as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients/families to conduct needs assessments and develop action plans for resources and referrals.
• Provide information to families and community agencies about GGRC and available services.
• Advocate for clients to ensure entitlement services and rights are met; coordinate with schools and local programs as needed.
• Monitor child development and provide developmental activities to support growth; maintain required records.
