CJ Logistics America in Des Plaines, IL is seeking an Air Import/Export Coordinator to manage import/export documentation, track air freight movements, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and strong communication with clients and government agencies.

This hybrid, full-time position requires bilingual Korean/English, sharp prioritization, and a professional office presence four days a week.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, organize, and manage time effectively.
• Bilingual in Korean/English is required.

Responsabilités

• Receive, review and process documentation for assigned accounts.
• Coordinate releases with government agencies and ensure timely invoicing.
• Process release and delivery, and manage client communications.
• Act as the liaison between customers, U.S. Customs and CBP and other agencies.
• Review transactions for problems and notify supervisor of issues.
• Provide timely customer service and update clients on shipment status.
• Ensure customer profiles are updated in company systems and prepare communications.
• Manage pre-alerts to track freight arrivals and document timing.
• Pursue ongoing process understanding through study and approved courses.
• Improve system knowledge and advanced features.
