CJ Logistics America is seeking a Bilingual (Korean/English) Drayage Operations Specialist to manage the cradle-to-grave lifecycle of drayage shipments. You will be the main contact for customers, internal fleets, and carrier partners, delivering reliable service and resolving disruptions.

The role combines hands-on drayage expertise with fluency in English and Korean, requires 2+ years in logistics, and offers a hybrid Des Plaines, IL work arrangement with opportunities to grow within a growing

Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in English and Korean (written and verbal).
• 2+ years in freight brokerage, account management, or logistics operations with hands-on drayage knowledge.
• KakaoTalk experience for client communications preferred.
• High School diploma required; Bachelor's in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business preferred.
• Proficiency in TMS and MS Office; MercuryGate, DAT, FourKites or Trucker Tools a plus.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% between Des Plaines, IL, Elwood, IL, and customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customer updates via KakaoTalk and email.
• Oversee full shipment lifecycles from order creation, planning and scheduling to tracking and delivery.
• Coordinate daily shipment operations with internal CJ Fleet assets and partner carriers.
• Address disruptions to meet SLAs and minimize delays.
• Verify carrier invoices and billing details for accuracy.
• Monitor daily drayage data and report performance metrics to leadership and clients.
• Collaborate with brokerage and transportation teams to optimize asset utilization.
