Job summary

DLA Piper LLP is seeking a Marketing & Business Development professional to support data privacy, protection and security, and labor & employment practice areas. Under the Senior BD & Marketing Manager, you’ll partner with attorneys and colleagues to pursue growth opportunities and deliver effective marketing materials.

This role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams, strong communication, and a proactive approach to campaigns, events, and client outreach in a flexible hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 3 years’ direct experience in marketing and business development in a large law firm or professional services.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and attorneys.
• Hybrid work experience and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Supports client targeting and cross-selling initiatives.
• Supports practice group events, industry sponsorships, and webinars.
• Collaborates on content generation for RFPs and pitches.
• Manages marketing collateral, pitch materials, and website/social content.
• Tracks experience and credentials across firm systems and base slides.
• Contributes to marketing campaigns and targeted client outreach.
• Gathers data to measure ROI and drafts directory submissions and industry awards.
• Coordinates internal/external communications, including alerts and press releases.
• Masters firm systems such as CRM and experience database; performs other duties as assigned.
