Country Bank in Belchertown, MA is seeking a Banking Center Specialist who supports customers end-to-end, handles cash, opens new accounts, and processes transactions.

Under the supervision of the Retail Banking Officer, you will build relationships, educate clients on products, and assist with online banking setup while maintaining accurate cash flow and compliance. This is a full-time role with a hybrid work arrangement and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• Banking/finance industry experience preferred; cash handling experience desired.
• Notary Public license and active NMLS registration required.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to build and deepen customer relationships through listening and engaging customers to understand their financial needs and guide them to Country Bank solutions.
• Own the customer experience end-to-end, involving referral partners when appropriate to meet requests and resolve issues.
• Open consumer, business, and retirement accounts; collect identifications and educate customers on self-service options.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, wire transfers, and foreign currency; balance cash box/drecycler/vault daily with accuracy.
• Support home equity lines of credit and consumer loan processing; ensure daily banking center operations are compliant and on schedule.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and participate in promotions and community events to grow business.
