Connectly Recruiting is seeking a first dedicated business development professional to build the sales function for a Louisiana learning and development company. The role is hybrid in the Baton Rouge or New Orleans area, with travel across Louisiana for client demos and meetings.

You will own prospecting, discovery and deal progression with a focus on corporate, government training and public-sector programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B sales: selling solutions, services or technology to businesses, government agencies or institutions.

Responsibilities

• Prospect through cold calls, email, LinkedIn, networking and conferences.
• Lead discovery, coordinate pricing with the internal team, and move deals from first call through close.
• Over time, own proposals and RFP responses, and support key client relationships.
