Job summary

Marsh Agency seeks a Business Development Specialist to uncover and develop new business leads. You will lead outbound B2B sales activities, manage daily strategy, and perform market analysis to adjust strategies.

You will also travel to conferences with Sales Producers and maintain pipelines in Salesforce. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus sales or customer service background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Some sales, marketing, or professional services experience preferred.
• Experience in business-to-business or outbound sales preferred.
• Life and Health license preferred; if not licensed, obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales strategy to generate new business leads with Sales Producers.
• Execute outbound prospecting campaigns to drive qualified leads and appointments.
• Uncover new sales opportunities by networking and market research.
• Represent MMA East's capabilities at trade shows and events.
• Track prospects and use internal sales systems to log activities and contracts.
• Travel to conferences with Producers and prepare post-conference follow-ups.
